Shakespeare In Hollywood

The show opened last night to an almost full house, in spite of the weather.  Many stayed for some wine and munchies, though the munchies are not as prolific as in past years.  The theater is having financial difficulties right now.Still, in spite of freezing rain, a lot of people turned out, and laughed long and hard.  Thanks, y'all!

We had a fire going out back in one of those chiminerias, and, thanks to the rain, the smoke hung around about nose-deep on the patio. I feel like I've taken up smoking again!

Tonight it will be cold, but not wet, so it won't be so bad.

  3. I am so glad it went well. We have a backyard firepit and used it all the time. The smell of a bonfire hurts to the core these days. I am not sure if we will have many as the weather warms up.

  4. Yep. Cooking my steaks under the broiler these days!

I will have pics of me. Tomorrow, I'll take my camera to the matinee and get somebody to get some pics.
