Final Dress Rehearsal

Anyone local who would like to see the Final Dress Rehearsal of "Shakespeare in Hollywood" should show up at the theater tomorrow night around 7:30. Bear in mind that it is a rehearsal, so it's free.

The theater is at 600 North Lee Street, across from the ball field in Memorial Park.

  1. I am very impressed with your black/white creation -- are the "fancies" near the bottom appliques or ...???

    What a fantastic job!

Is the time about right to say "break a leg"?

  2. Thanks, Kathy!

That underskirt is made from a dress I bought years ago, and just knew would come in handy for something. The upper part is embroidered, and the lower is sort of appliqued, but it came that way. I just rearranged the bits and added the black lace and the white ruffle.

I'm pleased with the way it turned out.

Wish I could come along. Wishing you all the very best with everything.

  4. If the costumes are any indication, I have a feeling this will be great. How I wish I were close enough to have a front row seat.

  5. Friday, January 18: It was a fabulous opening show tonight with great actors whose roles were enhanced immensely by the wonderful costuming. I had the distinct pleasure and great good fortune of having a personal tour by Ronni afterwards of the wardrobe and some of the costumes created and sewn by Ronni. Let me tell you, she is a terrific artist and seamstress!
    Brava, Veronica! ...tracie
