I'm not sure if Brendan had even seen Ethan before yesterday. He's frequently immersed in some sort of game when we go over there, and he is usually with his dad for holidays and the like. Babies are not high priority with him.
Faced with the possibility of changing a diaper, he'd brobably run or throw up; not necessarily in that order!
You have just confirmed my first thoughts on seeing that picture. LOL
Brendan almost looks panicked. As though Ethan wanted him to pick him up. It could be the age he is. I definitely went through a stage of being totally disinterested in babies. My mom was horrified!
She would have crossed a muddy track to see a friend with a new baby. LOL. My grandson is the same. I have to ask every mother with a baby in her shopping trolley if she can stop so he can see the baby. Then every time our paths cross, I get, "nana, nana..look!"
Haha. He gets embarrassed about it but can't help himself. The tinier the baby, the better.
I wonder if he will grow out of that? Sorry for the long waffle.
God, Mom! I look like a big fat cow!
ReplyDeleteNo, you don't! You look pretty.
ReplyDeleteI guess I could put up the other one instead.
It doesn't really matter, it is YOUR blog after all. You are free to do with it what you will. Isn't that what Mrs. SSS said?
ReplyDeleteBut I love you!
ReplyDeleteMorning, Ronni! Don't laugh and don't ask....
ReplyDeleteHow does Brendan manage with his nephew? Is he able to do any diaper changing?
Lovely picture, BTW. And, I really like the new look.
Ha! Ha ha! Hahahahahahahahah!
ReplyDelete(choke, gasp, wheeze)

Thanks for the compliment on the new look. I decided to go for larger print, as my stepmom reads here more when it's easier.
ReplyDeleteAnd you know I love green!

Vanessa looks wonderful. Bet she is a great Mom.
I like green, too.
