I can't remember the last time I got eight hours of sleep at a stretch!
Last night, I just went to bed. No blog entry, no sewing, no studying scripts; I even left the kitchen messy. I got sleepy, so I went to bed at 11:00 PM!
I woke up, briefly, once or twice, but, just before 7:00 AM, my eyes popped open, and here I am, without being awakened by my husband, without a headache, and without the absolute certainty that I'm going to need a steady stream of caffeine all day.
I should try this more often!
I struggle to get up during the week because I only usually get between 5 & 6 hours sleep. At the weekends I get more sleep, because I can.
ReplyDeleteThe funny thing is, that once I'm awake and up out of bed during the week. I feel better than I do at the weekend. Very strange!
I can't remember the last time I had 8 hours of sleep. Hope this doesn't become a habit with you. It would seriously curtail your "scourging" time. All kidding aside, I'm sure you not only needed it, but deserved it too.
