A Cheesy Post


I don't usually blog about food. I am not known for my cooking skills, though I do turn out a pretty good turkey.

I discovered this cheese at the local HEB today, and I'm here to tell you that it's TO DIE FOR.

I like cheese that is very sharp. I like cheddar, Stilton, Danish Blue. And, I like this. It's called Mimolette, and comes from northern France. It is very hard, and looks like dried cheddar. If it were possible to make cheese jerky, this would be it. If you like this sort of cheese and have not tried this one, do so. It is excellent.

  1. I love cheese, too. Last night I had crackers with cheese and chutney. Too hungry to wait for the calamari and rice.

    I have never seen a cheese that looks like that, though. Is it at all similar to Parmegano?
