Mgt, I don't know how familiar you are with "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," but it's sort of "good kids v/s the Herdmans." Chandra played the head Herdman, and Vanessa was the narrator, or head good kid.
DAG NABBIT! I can't believe you did that to me! Also, It had to be closer to 1993 or 1994 than 1983, since I was in the 8th grade at the time and not TWO! Gosh mom, I know it's been a while, but I am only 25.

I knew 1983 didn't look right. It was 93, because Beej was 3.
