Train tracks. How boring. Still, that's the view from the top of the bridge, looking east. I've also posted a picture of the plaque at the north end of the bridge.
In 1927, the Baylor University basketball team was travelling to Austin by bus for a game. The bus was hit by a train at this crossing, and ten of the students lost their lives. Except for I H 35, there is no other bridge over the tracks in Round Rock. It was rebuilt in the 90's, and now has sidewalks protected by walls on either side.
