Blogging Meme

1) Are you happy/satisfied with your blog's content and look?
Not really, but, as I've added links which would be lost if I changed it, and blogger doesn't really have a whole lot of options (that I like, anyway), I'll stick with it.
2) Does your family know about your blog?
Yes, and some of them actually read it. If I wanted it to be private, I would just write in Word and keep it on my computer.
3) Do you feel embarrassed to let your friends know about your blog?
No, I tell them all. If they want to read it, that's wonderful, but most of them are busy people, and don't suffer from insomnia. Therefore I understand if they don't read it.
4) Did blogging cause positive changes in your thoughts?
Well, it's nice to know that I can occasionally amuse total strangers.
5) Do you only open the blogs of those who comment on your blog or do you love to go and discover more by yourself?
I start out with my own links, and read their links, and just blog-hop.
6) What does a visitor counter mean to you? Do you like having one on your blog?
Yes, I do. It's nice to know that 50 people or so stop by every day. For whatever reason.
7) Did you try to imagine your fellow bloggers and give them real pictures?
Not really. How they look is immaterial to me.
8) Do you think there is any real benefit in blogging?
Oh, yes. Opinions circulate. Feedback is forthcoming. Definite benefits, both psychological and sociological. Entertaining, too.
9) Do you think that blogger's society is isolated from the real world or interaction with events?
Not really. All the bloggers I know are well-grounded in real life. I will think of an entry in the middle of a conversation at work, or something will happen in real life that inspires a post. I have a very busy life. I just don't sleep much.
10) Does criticism annoy you or do you feel it's a normal thing?
Are the two mutually exclusive? Most of the criticism I have received has been from a certain group that dislikes me more because of my friendship with another blogger than for what I actually write, so I take it with a grain of salt, in consideration of the source.
11) Do you fear some political blogs and avoid them?
No. Most of them bore me to tears, though.
12) Were you shocked by the arrest of some bloggers?
Somehow, I missed that, and have no idea why they were arrested.
13) What do you think will happen to your blog after you die?
I'll leave instructions with my husband and/or kids to take care of it.
14) What song do you like to hear? What song would you like to link to on your blog?
I like to hear so many songs that I couldn't possibly pick one, so I would just as soon not do that. I find it very annoying to click on a blog and find music blaring out at me, unless it's a music blog.

  1. I know where you are in the photograph! You're in the last row, fourth from the right. I went to school with you and I was in the annual club, but I'm not in the picture. What memories! How young we were! Thank you for posting the picture.
