I suppose every child has to do this at least once, right? Chandra said, "I suppose it's almost time to shave his head.""Oh, Let me!" I willingly volunteered.
"Or, better yet, let Jimmy!" That got a laugh.
When Brendan was about 3, and Chandra and Luis were in high school, they shaved his head. Jimmy was incensed. Poor little Brendan wasn't too happy with it, either. People were coming up to me in the grocery store, saying, "I'll be praying for you and your little boy!"
I told them, "You'd do better to pray for his sister, when I get hold of her!"
When we told Jimmy that Chandra and Luis had a son, the first thing out of his mouth was, "When can I shave his head?"
I'd love to be able to tell him he can!
My daughter found clumps of my Grandson's hair in the bottom of the bath last night.
ReplyDeleteWe had such a laugh, Ronni. Neither of us noticed it when he was drying himself.
Robyn came into my room after she had drained the water from his bath, and we just shook our heads and laughed with disbelief.
I said "in future, hide your razor!"
I must call her and ask her where he shaved...front or back.
