"The Women" (Again)

A little visit to "A Cut Above," Ramona Haass's's wonderful costume shop right here in Round Rock has reassured some actresses that they haven't completely dropped off my radar. We now have Edith's pregnancy pad, and the wonderful maternity top that Ben Irene wore as "Gooch" in "Auntie Mame."

Ramona shut down over Spring Break because she is costuming nine shows at once, and needed a spring break from folks coming in to get one or two things.

We have juggled some gowns for the party scene, and now both my size 14's are happy. It's just my 6-foot-tall size 12 I need to find something for!

I was literally rolling on the floor, howling with laughter last night. I was seeing the scene where two of Stephen's secretaries visit Mary to get the papers signed that are pertinent to the divorce. I'm not going to describe it; you're going to have to shell out your $15 and come see the show!

And I have figured out what vastly pregnant Edith is wearing to the party.

  1. This size 14 is certainly delighted! Thank you! And yay the laughter! Now I just have to figure out how to not crack up laughing in the middle of it myself.

Thank you, Ronni, just for being so kind to all of our fragile fashion egos. You have the patience of a saint.

  2. Nope. Must be some other Ronni. This one has the patience of maybe a pit bull.
