Macramé

Here's a necklace that I made in 1984. My (at the time) 7-year-old daughter made the pendant from the very first stamp that I made.

How "80's" is that?

I taught macramé at the community school, and made custom macramé window shades and plant hangers, not to mention Christmas tree ornaments, and a lot of this type of jewelry.

  1. I had hopes when I started seeing those hemp bracelets a couple of years ago, but it hasn't progressed beyond that level.

I have lots of patterns for owls. Those ar always fun!

  2. How funny is that!! I had a macrame class in middle school and it was all the rage then. What a beautiful necklace :)

  3. I have only two of them left, having sold or given the rest away. I'll see if I can get a pic of the other one.
