One of the running jokes in this play is Father asking, "Does that mean I have to go?" in reference to the Pageant. This is the scene where Mom finally lets him know that, yes, he HAS to go!
"Fire! There's a fire!" yells Mrs McCarthy, after going into the ladies room at the church and finding it full of thick smoke. Who knew I'd get such a good shot of Kelsey's tonsils?
