The Last Day

Tomorrow is the last day of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." It has come far too soon. We have two shows, one at 2:00, and again at 8:00. The weather is to be cold, rainy and generally inclement, possibly involving sleet. That being so, I decided not to have the customary party in the afternoon between the shows. I shall highly recommend that people go home, stay warm and rest up, out of the weather.

Tonight's performance went very well. There were some mistakes, but the pace was excellent. We had a lot of friends and parents in the audience.

It's a very loud and frenzied production. There seems to be a lot more screaming and yelling than I had originally envisioned. Nice, though. The time is under 50 minutes, which means we have shaved a minute or two. A children's show that drags is really not a good thing.

I wish the weather would be better tomorrow, so that we could have a party. Most of the cast has been very healthy (knock wood), so I really don't want them all to come down with something the day after we close.

I have enjoyed this experience, thanks to a most excellent cast and crew, not to mention the wonderful parents who have endlessly helped out.

I am most grateful to one and all!

  2. Great link, Astro! Thanks. I had to send them a shot of Crock Pot Cat. Not exactly a sink, but same general idea.
