What's In Your Purse?

There are certain things that are always in my purse. First, the usual; my wallet with ID, insurance, cash, cards, etc. Then, I carry a small tape measure, minimal makeup--lip gloss, mascara, eyeliner/eyebrow pencil, small mirror. There are tweezers, a nail clipper, a nail file, tissues, safety pins, pens, a small notebook, a highlighter, permanent marker, several chapsticks and lighters, cigs, small scissors, a pocket knife, a hairbrush, and one of those little folding multi-tool things with screwdrivers, pliers, etc. There's a small pill bottle with a variety of OTC painkillers, and a small tube of tooth goo, a pocket pack of baby wipes, and hand lotion. I was caught without a bandaid a couple of months ago, which embarrassed me to no end. Oh, and one other thing--a jewellers loupe. I totally scared a lady in the Goodwill one day. She was squinting at a brooch, trying to see the mark on the back. I just whipped out my loupe, and told her what it was. I was on down the aisle before she closed her mouth!

Fortunately, the days of carrying my children's candy wrappers, stray toys, and crayons are long gone, and my purse is, once again, mine.

  1. Ronni, I'm sure it will come as no surprise to you, but I LOVE THAT PURSE!

  2. I've gone through 2 of them in the past 3 years. I wish I could find another. It came from a mail-order catalogue, and cost around $14!
